There where six states representative KS – 44, OK – 7, MO – 5, TX – 3, IL – 1, & AR – 1. State count for the Chargers was Kansas 43, Oklahoma 7, Missouri 5, Texas 3, Arkansas 1 and Illinois 1. Owners without their cars were Kansas 6, Oklahoma 3 and Missouri 3.

Our participant’s choice was a Jerry and Ann Narramore 1969 Dodge Charger 500 - 426 Hemi

From the Charger Meet we went to the El Dorado Open Car Show until it was time to cruise over to the StarVu Drive-In Theatre.  The movies that were shown were “CARS’ and “Talladega Nights”. Once again we overwhelmed the owner of the drive in. The owner wanted to pass along a “Thank you all” that made it to the movies.

All Dodge Charger Weekend September 15 & 16, 2007

The 10th Annual All Dodge Charger Weekend will be one of best meets. If you have never attended one of the Charger Meets this will be the one you will want to attend, or if its been a while since you have been to a Charger meet you’ll want to make it to this one. If you have been to every one of the meets you do not want to miss this one. First we start off with Friday night’s informal gathering at the host motel. Saturday at 9:00 A.M. we kick off the Charger Meet with swap meet/car corral area at the Kansas Oil Museum.  At 4:30 we will joining the El Dorado Open Car Show and at 7:30 will cruise to the StarVu Drive-In Theatre, (we are currently working on the main feature if you have any suggests we would like to hear them). There will be a $5.00 fee per classic carload ($10.00 for newer cars) at the Drive-In gate. We are working on something different for Sunday; we will have more information by the time we send out the August newsletter.

Larry Lyles has done it again; first with “Project Charger” and now with “Revive Your Ride”. Larry’s new book covers it all from the beginning to the finished project. If you are a novice or an advanced restorer this book is for you. It tells you how to set up a shop, the tools and products to repair sheet metal. It provides tips for restoring emblems, badges, molding, etc. Also it covers bodywork to painting your car. You can call Larry to order your own personal copy of “Revive Your Ride” (money well spent). Larry’s phone # (806) 359-9783

Many thanks to each and every one of you that helped out at the Meet, we appreciate it very much.

All the door prizes that everyone donated made this part of the meet very successful.

To make 2007 year’s meet as successful as last year’s meet we need everyone’s help: by bringing your Charger and a friend with their Charger, volunteering to help at the meet and donating door prizes. Please let Rocky know if you can help.

Darryl Starbird show in January - Charger Fever teamed up with the Wichita Area Mopars (WAM) again this year to go to the Darryl Starbird show in January. We had seven cars that went in with us five were Chargers and two other Mopars. This was Darryl Starbird’s 50 Year anniversary show, due to the number of feature cars, Darryl had to cut the number of club cars that could be showed, (we lost 5 cars that was ready show join us). Darryl said, he would not limit the numbers next time. If you would like to join us next year and would like more information about the show please contact Rocky.

Spring Cruise in April - Nick Villiger organized a spring cruise in Branson, MO has I understand it, the cruise turned out to be a lot of fun and everyone had great time. GOOD JOB Nick!!!

I’m sorry that Marianne and I had a conflict that made it impossible to attend.

The TDC Meet in Jefferson City in May – Mike and Karen Schrader hosted one of five the TDC meets scheduled for this year. In spite of the threatening weather and the rising gas prices, there was a good turnout and everyone have a great time. Way to go Mike and Karen.
